Just a few miles from the original Akiko’s at 431 Bush St., the new flagship restaurant is planned for the base of residential high-rise, The Avery, at 430 Folsom St. Lee plans for a menu with classic to modern Japanese dishes and to elevate the omakase experience. Another big change for the forthcoming restaurant is to add a comprehensive bar program that will likely include cocktails, international wines, Japanese beers and reserve sake.
